We believe that the Glossodia community deserve a better deal out of the voluntary palnning agreement funds from the proposed Jacaranda Ponds development. Spending $19 million on road repairs, many not even in Glossodia, is unreasonable when the rest of the community's infrastructure needs are ignored. We call on council and the developers to renegotiate the voluntary planning agreement to include funding for local schools, footpaths, emergency services, supporting our local shops, beautifying the 40 acres, curb and guttering, bike paths and other community facilities.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one frustrated by how our local funds are being misdirected. My neighbors and I deserve to see these resources actually improve our daily lives instead of disappearing into projects miles away.

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS? We have zero facilities here. Need a park for the families not just more tarmac for people driving through.

Typical council decision. Forget the locals and just dump the money where it's easiest. We deserve better than this.

19 million for roads miles away is a joke. Glossodia gets nothing while the developers walk away with the profit. Fix our local footpaths first.
