My name is Izzy Sernel and I’m a Junior Nursing major here at Illinois Wesleyan. Currently I am involved in the Student Nurses Association as well as Alpha Gamma Delta where I’m currently the President. I have also served as the Vice President of Recruitment my sophomore year for AGD. I have been in the senate for the past three semesters and hope to continue in this position. These leadership positions have allowed me to be a voice for many students which is why I would love to be on the senate again this upcoming year. Being a member of the Senate would allow me to be a voice for the students and to help make a change on our campus. This opportunity is a way I can continue to be involved on campus and grow my leadership skills. I’m passionate about our school and I hope that by continuing with the senate I will get more connected on campus and make a positive impact on our community.
