'Series 3 has been written and ITV had renewed the period drama Home Fires this month for Series 3, stated to premiere in 2017....
Now ITV has reversed its decision to renew Home Fires for Series 3, opting instead to cancel the wartime drama on a cliffhanger after two series.'
Home Fires is a highly popular, well-written, well-acted drama. It adds class to ITV's schedules.
We urge ITV to reconsider.

I am heartbroken--and more than a little confused--about why Home Fires has ended after only 2 seasons. I love the show SO SO much and want to see the rest of the story. Please, ITV! Bring back my very favorite series!! I am an American viewer.
Great show; one of the best! All of the plot lines are interesting and very well written. In addition to seeing what happens to each character, I have really been looking forward to seeing Sociopath Bob get his 'just deserts'..... Please do not cancel !!
Something whole family can watch together on a Sunday night and younger generation can learn what life was like we wacth it then a family discussion about it so much better than a lot of the rubbish you put on over the week end please keep it bring it back
Please, please reconsider. This is a fantastic drama and is so well acted with good story lines. It also helps younger people of today get a glimpse of what life in Britain was like during World War 2. It is imperative no one forgets.
I can't believe the story was left on such a cliffhanger, leaving the audience with no idea of what happened in the plane crash and how the characters' stories continued. There is still plenty of scope and WW2 still had many years to run after all!
We have invested in these characters . A well produced , quality drama .

I've been waiting patiently for series 3 of Home Fires to come on our screens. I have only just heard its been cancelled! I can't believe it. A talented cast, great & realistic storylines & they scrapped it. Why would they do that? Please bring it back.
