Just watched it again on Friday night's on ITV3.
Ending was such a cliff hanger, please bring it back!

As the series has already been written it seems a very bad decision not to show it & as you can see by the number of people who have signed the petition every one thinks the same. It's a great show & what happened at the ending of the last series was meant to be carried on to the next series.

I loved this show. Not only did it offer a real insight into a now sadly overlooked aspect of second world war history (not to mention the WI), the characters and struggles they faced were written with depth and compassion.
Shows like Home Fires are too few and far between. It is such a shame it has gone from our screens.

This is a great show about everyday women facing the daily adversities of a crisis. It’s showing a wars effects in a very personal and human and heroic way off the battlefield. It gives us hope and teaches us that even though we may have warts, we can overcome anything with hope and staying together in an hope or able commission n cause. Bring this show back. It is so needed.
