We are asking that the Irish Government hold a referendum, that will allow the Irish people to decide the rates of salary, pensions and expenses of all Irish politicians and Higher Civil Servants.
These decisions to be made clear on the ballot paper.
No employee of the state will receive a salary that is more than the average industrial wage.
All expenses must be vouched, and agreed, and apply to every Irish citizen.
No state employee will be entitled to a pension that exceeds the minimum wage, in the future and retrospectively, and cannot be drawn down until retirement age, as applies to every citizen of the State.Privately funded pensions will not be affected , but will be taxable.
Adoption of the referendum will negate any and all legal challenge to previous arrangements and practices.
The referendum will be enshrined in the Irish Constitution.
