We are not against Affordable Housing. This project does not meet the Local guidelines of using 60% of Average Median Income (AMI). It uses 80% of the AMI. Further, the Town should be able to decide where and when to add Affordable Housing. And how much at one time.. Here are the rents for this project:

2 bedroom: $1,470 affordable $1,807 market
3 bedroom $1,671 affordable $2,350 market

Please do not allow this brutal construction to happen. It will only place a burden on the town and schools, the home owners that live near by and destroy the peaceful entrance into the beautiful and quiet town of Ipswich that we would never get back.

The proposed Bruni 40B site on Essex Road will only have negative effects on our neighborhood. The influx in population as a result of this project would strain both our water supply and school system, as well as lower our property values. Ipswich is not the type of town to have low-income apartment style housing, and this will take away the small town, quaint feel of our area- not to mention the fact that there is already low income housing right down the street from this proposed sight, on County Road. I am very against Bruni 40B on Essex Road.

Ipswich needs affordable housing, but this is not affordable housing. And the plan takes no account of the desperate water and drainage situation.

With a new brewery being built, the new Y pool AND another brewery in town already would we have enough water for ALL with the new monstrosity of homes? We barely had enough last summer to survive extreme drought!! Also huge influx of new students at schools, are we equipped for this?

I am concerned about how we will provide water to more people living in town, when we run low every summer already. This past summer's drought got very scary, and we nearly ran out of water! I also wonder if our school system can bear the influx of so many new children, and how this might affect the improvements we were able to make with the recent override.

Too ugly, too much. Ruin character of this beautiful town. Do a small development that makes sense. We have a water situation that became serious this summer. This is way over the top. We are not Danvers, Peabody, Saugus with all the ugly buildings and stresses on a small town. This is a small town that does not need city buildings.

This is another example of developers using a flawed law to ram a development down a community's collective throat. Ipswich is extremely when it comes to affordable housing. This project will adversely affect the character of this small town and negatively impact the quality of life of residents, including those who would live there.
