We, the undersigned, as Woodbury County tax payers respectively request, Dennis Gallagher, School Board President of Westwood Community School District and the entire School Board to call for the immediate resignation of Mr. Ahrends. It is our belief that Mr. Ahrends does not enforce school policies or Iowa Codes set forth by the Iowa Deparment of Education. Without these policies and codes being enforced it is our opinion that the saftey and well being of our children are being compromised. Although he is open to meeting with parents and other individuals in the community he does not follow through or offer satisfactory results. We are requesting an immediate Nationwide search to begin looking for a new Westwood School Superintendent to lead us into a safer, more productive era of Westwood School.
