Kansas State University currently has no dedicated fund for the maintenance or installation of campus trees. Due to the rich tree tree history here Kansas State University we propose the development of such a fund. Sign this petition if you are willing to increase your tuition each semester by $3. That money will be used exclusively for the benefit of trees on campus. For the price of a bottle of soda or cup of coffee you ensure that trees on campus are maintained to the highest level. It's time to invest in K-State's trees.
The feedback regarding our campus canopy remains consistent and encouraging. I am currently reaching out to administrative offices to present the proposal for a dedicated tree fund.

The level of engagement surrounding this initiative demonstrates that our campus community deeply values the preservation of our natural landscape. This momentum provides a clear mandate as we prepare to present our proposal to the administration.

Good initiative. Those trees are old and need professional care before they rot or get diseased. Glad someone is finally acting on this.

The campus looks so much better with trees. It is 3 bucks to make sure the shade stays for the next generation of students. Seems like a no brainer.

I love the trees on campus. I would happily pay a little more to keep them healthy.

3 dollars is nothing. Stop spending so much on new buildings and take care of what we already have here.
