Introduce CCTV and/or railings in the dangerous areas of York such as Lendall Bridge and around Ouse River

Protect the residents of York.

Too many tragic stories. A camera needs fitting for the publics safety

This needs to be dealt with immediately. Too many things happening in York and this needs to be acted upon!!!! Don't feel safe in my own city!!!

This shouldn't have happened to Megan and safety measures need to be put into place to prevent another tragic accident

Money is no object when it takes someone's life.

This is vital. Not only for Megan's memory, but for the poor girl raped as well.

It scaresme that so many teenagers are being pulled from our rivers, something really needs to be done to save them

A petition should not even need to be done, Peoples lives are at risk constantly and york council need to get their act together ! FAST

This sort of thing has to be in place. It shouldn't even need a petition, they should be already in place! I hope they do. Also some sort of barrier to avoid easy accidental entry to such rivers.

Tragic events such as the death of Megan Roberts should not be happening. The city needs more CCTV and more police patrols on a night.
