Introduce CCTV and/or railings in the dangerous areas of York such as Lendall Bridge and around Ouse River

need more secure fencing/railings around the river plus cctv .

Make Megan's death not in vain, let's make sure this never happens again

My brother is Robert Davies who was found in the river Ouse 7 years ago. Whilst additional cameras cannot necessarily save a person's life they will be able to provide the answers to the questions that friends and family have to live with unanswered. I offer my sincerest condolences to Megan’s friends and family.

l was only discussing with friends this evening about how dangerous down by the river is day or night l strongly agree theyre should be cameras and more patroling

Too many avoidable tragedies have happened over the years in relation to the river, cameras will be the start to helping overcome this problem.

Need them ASAP

There needs to be more cameras around the dark deserted areas so that if anything happens there in the future it can be ruled out quicker and people will think more carefully and be more careful!

My Grand-daughter goes to St. John's Uni & like most students goes out drinking. We all worry when they have been drinking & walking near the River.

if it saves one life it will be worth it
