As residents of Windsor Terrace living within one block of the intersection of McDonald Avenue and Terrace Place, we are very concerned about the safety of this intersection. Speeding trucks and cars down McDonald Avenue are the norm and we would like a safer way to cross the intersection. We, the undersigned residents, request that a traffic light be installed to help control traffic.

Updates

June 23, 2008

The dangerous conditions at McDonald and Terrace Place show no signs of slowing down. Please email your local representative now to demand a traffic light for our neighborhood. We need to keep pressure on the city until they finally prioritize our safety.

June 23, 2008

The momentum behind this request is undeniable. Send the link to three neighbors right now and email your city council representative to demand they address this intersection.

My kids walk to school right past this spot. It makes me so nervous every single morning.

Ridiculous that we have to play frogger just to cross the street. Do something about this fast.

I almost got hit twice last week walking my dog. People treat McDonald like a drag strip. Put the light in before someone gets killed.

Fix this intersection. Traffic is out of control and drivers dont care about pedestrians at all.
