Division road is critical to the growth and development of Tipton county. As one of only 2 access roads, closing it down will create a hardship for many employers and employees traveling east/west, particularly to those in the northern part of the county. Do the right thing!

How will people, truckers and others get to Tipton and the businesses on division and the west side of Tipton? We need this road or everything will be going through town, side streets and back everything up not to say that it will also ruin the streets quicker.

Not everyone in our county lives in Tipton, or at the north end of the county. It is the business of Tipton County, and not the State Highway Department, how we travel through and out of our county. Imho, they are guests here-we are not their subjects.

The citizens of Tipton County as well as the City of Tipton need a full interchange at Division Road and US 31. The development of a full interchange is critical to the safety to the western part of our county as well as an alternative to the intersection at State Road 28 if it is blocked. This intersection is currently vital to the efficient transport of farm products and manufactured goods produced and moved through our county and to limit this access would cause unnecessary economic harm and hinder the future business development of Tipton County.

Please leave division and 31 alone we travel that road a lot and please leave the light there ... there are no other ways to get to 31 from Tipton unless we go all the way to 28 or down a country road . And if we need to go south we are taking a risk trying to get across all lanes while most cars aren't doing the speed limit

Tipton county has only 2 main access points to US 31, Division road being one of them. By removing access to Division Rd, motorists will be forced to go miles out of their way. Multiple businesses use the intersection for access: for farm equipment, semis, and employees. A large portion of Tipton's labor force uses the interchange to access Tipton county. It would be wholefully ignorant to ignore the needs of a whole county to remove this intersection. To give an example, try removing I-70's entrance to 465. See how well that would go over? That is how vital the intersection at Division Rd and US - 31 is to Tipton County. I drove that route 2xs a day for over 3 years as a college student to attend Indiana University Kokomo, and to get to my job which was also located in Kokomo. Without that intersection, I would have been made to go 5 miles out of my way. 10 extra miles, 5 days a week. Multiply that by how many people would be negatively impacted by this, and the state has quite a few dissatisfied tax payers. Please keep the access to US 31 at Division Rd.

I figured that an overpass would be the next step. I had no idea that the state was going to completely block Division Rd. off.
