This petition is to let the state and INDOT know that an interchange at Division Road and US 31 is a priority for this community! Across the board, both city and county residence and organizations need to come together to advocate for this vital piece of infrastructure. Anything less than a basic interchange will cut off Prairie Township, hurt our schools and rural families, increase truck traffic on county roads, and increase logistics times for our area businesses and first responders.

An interchange at this location, US31 and Division road is important not only to Tipton County but also the State. It provides for the opportunity of a east west highway from I-65 to and from I-69 without going through any town utilizing Division Road East and West.
Division Road is an integral intersection for the industries at the industrial park at Tipton. It is also highly used for grain hauling to Cargill and Co-alliance. It is not wise to have all semi traffic routed thru downtown Tipton on 28.
An interchange at US 31/Division Rd in Tipton County is vital to farmers/agriculture and the safety of Prairie Twp. residents in responses to fire and medical emergencies. It is not worth risking lives and livlihoods for the sake of the convenience of a minute or two.
I live to the West of 31, (Prairie Township) in between 26 in Howard County, and Division Rd. in Tipton County, there is quite a few of us out this way. It would be nice to have an interchange on Division Rd to give us safe access.
As a resident at this intersection, I identify clearly the need for an interchange. Significant traffic including freight and agricultural. Already a high number of accidents that occur here.
I believe Division Road is essential to the city of Tipton. The semi traffic for our local industries is very important.
We need some kind of interchange here.. Even keeping the stop light would be better than nothing. This is a busy road for us in Jefferson township.

Please do not shut off access to US 31 at Division Rd. Not only do My husband and use this intersection going to and from work, by farmers and truckers use Division Rd to transport goods to the industrial park on the north side of Tipton. Our community needs to be able to access US 31 from more than just point.
