High school students need to know more about their rights to prevent situations that can lead to police misconduct. Including a short "Know Your Rights" seminar in a student's curriculum can educate them on how to interact with police officers as well as what boundaries they or the officer cannot cross.
SFUSD board members are still hiding behind bureaucratic excuses while our students remain vulnerable to police intimidation. I am tired of the runaround and will keep pushing until they admit that basic safety education is not optional. Do not let these officials ignore the reality of what happens on our streets.

Finally. My brother was hassled by cops last year and he had no idea what he was allowed to say. This could really help.
