We, the undersigned, are in favour of the initiative to construct a Bike Skills Park in our community. We request (or call upon) the City of Vernon to provide our club, North Okanagan Cycling Society, with a decisive location for the construction of the North Okanagan Bike Skills Park.
Please join us on April 25, 2016 at 1:30 PM for a delegate presentation to the City of Vernon.
Presentation will be in Council Chambers, Vernon City Hall.
Presentation includes:
- Overview of NOCS and milestones
- Rationale for a bike skills park
- Work done on initiative in 2015

This would really help our young people get ahead in a growing sport. Hope, BC, has recently built a great bike park that could serve as one example.
A Bike Skills Park is a wonderful idea. The BMX park on 20th St. has been a great success and is heavily used. A Bike Skills Park would cost little and would provide our younger citizens with a great place to hone their skills.
I feel this community needs to promote active living. Please get behind NOCS and help find a suitable location for our youth to learn the much needed skills to ride the trail systems that surrounds them. Thank you Kyle Johnson
We feel that the bike skills park would be a great asset to the city of Vernon.We often have our grandkids here and would like to take them there to improve there skills.It would also be a fun family event.
Vernon is becoming a mountain biking destination and the least the city can do is build a skills park. It will help develop a healthy lifestyle for the children of Vernon and gives the mountain bikikng tourist one more reason to come to Vernon
Investing in activities that promote health and wellbeing always benefit the entire community.

Excellent. I gained greatly from the Sprockids park on the Sunshine Coast in the late 90s. Would love to have something similar for my young kids over the coming years
