I started playing at the brierwood park with my father around the age of six with my brother and his older friends. It is where I learned to love the sport of hockey. It's a shame that I still have to play on basically the in same blacktop as I always have for 16 years. It would be a great thing for our community. We support football and basketball, why not a sport that revolves around the winter we spend over half of our year in.

Street Hockey was my childhood. Great memories, great friends, Erie youth would benefit greatly.

Its about time we finally have a nice rink to where we can play hockey instead of a cracked ashfalt rink with rusted broken fences.

Yes, please. There's a whole sports court that nobody uses except us and the soccer players, and they destroy the nets that are for hockey. It would be greatly appreciated and taken care of by a lot of us.
