They've teased us with the idea of an ice rink here in Clarksville for years, I think its about time they give us one! Yeah we can play hockey in Nashville, but can you imagine if we didn't have to drive that far? Come on City of Clarksville give us an ice rink!

The momentum surrounding our request for a local ice rink has grown significantly over the past week. This collective interest proves that Clarksville residents are ready for a facility that eliminates the need for long commutes to play hockey.

This needs to happen, no reason the commute to Nashville needs to happen for a community the size of Clarksville that has two adult roller derby teams, one junior teams and numerous locals that grew up playing ice and roller hockey that have to go far out of their way to play.
It would be another sport to offer to this town. With post right there , there should be a steady flow people. As well as there could be free skate or other activities.
There is a clear audience. Especially with being a military town. Everyone travels to Nashville to play but not all like to drive over an hour.
This would bring jobs and having leagues play would give our cities kids something to do besides roaming the streets getting in trouble.
My 9 year old and 3 year old love ice skating in Nashville, would be great if did not have to drive an hour.
I am writing on this again. So many people would love to see an Ice Rink here in Clarksville not just for the children but for adults also and gives everyone a fantastic place to go and possibly even have professional teams from all over for matches and tournaments and television crews it would just be amazing and plus bring in more revenue for Clarksville-absolutely!!!!

We need something better to offer our youth and their families. Let's build up Clarksville. Stop putting in Walmarts and give us something we can enjoy. We need an ice rink!
