kirkless council and the neighbours of our street want us removed because of the amount of dogs we keep. They complaim about the noise which happens once a day when the dogs are fed. please sign the petiton against these people. The real problem is the lack of understanding of northern breeds like huskies and inuits. questions like "why do you need so many dogs" and when we reply they think were lying. huskies are a pack animal. so please sign the petiton against these people throwing us out of our own home and support siberian husky and northern breed owners allover the country. this isnt just a problem that we experience. it happens to a lot of dog owners.

Updates

July 12, 2008

The council is still refusing to acknowledge the natural pack behavior of northern breeds. Send an email to your local representative today to explain why these dogs must stay in their homes. Post this link on your Facebook page right now so we can show them how many people understand the reality of owning huskies.

The momentum behind this petition proves that people recognize the unique needs of northern breeds. Send this link to your local council representatives to show them that owners across the country demand respect for our pack animals.

People really have no clue about huskies. They are loud dogs and that is just what they do. Stop trying to kick them out of their own home, it is ridiculous.

Keep fighting this. Nobody should lose their home over a few minutes of noise a day. Ridiculous.

Total nonsense. Unless they are barking 24/7 the neighbors need to back off. My malamute howls at feeding time too, it takes ten minutes and then they go to sleep. Leave them alone.
