Dear fellow Indians, Most of us when we log in the morning we open Indians newspapers on line. What does this mean It means even though we are away from our homeland we are still connected to our homeland. When our country burns on religious issues, we felt bad, when there was quake we felt the tremor, when there was war we felt irritated. All these are good sign that we still want to take part in the happening of India. But do we actually participate in any other process other than reading newspaper Does any one voted to any democratic organization recently. Or when is the last time you voted in your country. For me I was about 10 years back. May be my one vote does not make any difference. I know. But how can I say that I am still connected to my country when we could not participate in any election of a democratic organization I am feeling the guilt. But it should not be that way. It could change. Nowadays all US defense personnel living abroad votes thru Internet. They did it in the last election. Indians are IT superpowers at least in software. Chinese accepted it. So why we cant do We could do. We all can participate in voting process. I also planning to make a website regarding this. Please visit the website & register yourself as soon as possible. All information given by you during registration shall be kept confidential. I request you all take part in this moment. If we have sufficient number & if we can voice our concern at high places, we could achieve this. How can any political party deny our fundamental right They cant. For this movement I wish to make one person in charge of on county. Please be in touch with this person & participate actively by informing this movement to your fellow Indian friends. A fellow patriotic Indian, Umesh K.N.,

I am spending all my free time looking into how secure servers actually handle these things because if the US defense can do it then surely our software engineers can build something better. Some of you have been sending me private messages about your own frustrations with traveling back home just to cast a ballot and honestly it just confirms that this is something we deserve as people who still care deeply about our home.

Seeing this much energy build up feels surreal especially thinking about those quiet mornings spent reading the news alone and wondering if anyone else felt this same ache. It is honestly wild that we are finally starting to turn this into a real conversation because for too long I just felt like the only one obsessed with how we can actually participate despite the distance. I need to get that website finished soon so we can organize properly but for now just take a breath and soak in how quickly this is catching fire.

Living in the UK for 8 years and I miss having a say. We work in IT and know this tech exists already. Just give us the option.

SO TRUE. We keep up with every single headline back home but have no way to participate. Please make this happen.

Finally someone said it. My husband and I feel so disconnected every time an election comes around.

If I can file my taxes online I should be able to vote. It is ridiculous that we are excluded just for working abroad.
