State Senator J.D. Ford, D-Indianapolis, filed House Bill 432, which would establish an electronic animal abuse registry.
The database would contain information about people convicted of offenses against animals, such as animal abuse, neglect or cruelty.

I truly never imagined that so many people would care about this issue when I first started the page. Seeing this kind of momentum is entirely due to your willingness to put your name behind this cause.

About time indiana stepped up. People who hurt animals are sick and they shouldnt be allowed to own any pets ever again.
It would be GREAT if all states had this registry and folks could cross reference.
It's a shame this has to have a petition.Let's keep all our animals safe and loved..
Long overdue. Animal abuse is often a precursor to additional crimes, it needs to be tracked!
Make sure all animal shelters have access to the database so they don't let someone that's on it have an animal
I would love to see this in all 50 states.
I support harsher punishment for crimes against animals.
