Government of India headed by Narendra Modi recently declared Christmas Day i.e 25th December as 'Good Governance Day' to mark former BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday.

As India is a Secular country, there are billions of Christians in India. If the government of India carry on their plan to mark this day as Good governance Day, many Christians will have to attend certain govt functions on this day and also Christians in schools under CBSE will have to attend the ceremony organised on this day. That means this day would affect Christians in India and would disturb the celebration of their most important day in a year i.e. Christmas Day. Why does the Government of SECULAR INDIA proposed such an important religious day for the Good Governance Day?

So lets all cast our vote and sign this petition against the Good Governance Day which is to be observed on December 25th Christmas day.

India is a secular country..All religions must be respected. If government offices can have holidays on Janmasthami..why not on Christmas? How about declaring Holi as Good Governance Day ???

Christian's Contribution to the development of India is very better. We run lot of educational Institues which made India as cultured and civilized country. Government should respect Christian's aspiration and values.

why 25th Dec Mr. Modi? Instead choose Diwali as a good governance day. You could have chosen any other day from 365 days in the calendar. stop targeting religious minorities in the name of governance.

Being a Christian Christmas day is a day where we go to church and only main festival for us ...India being a secular country isn't it odd day to choose this day...
