Final supporters
The undersigned student-athletes, parents, friends of Georgetown University Field Hockey, and other stakeholders appeal to the leadership of Georgetown University to join us in increased support of the Field Hockey Program, so the team has the ability to compete in the University-selected Big East Conference.
The Georgetown Field Hockey Program has suffered a 10+ year losing record. We ask the University to aid in the reversal of this trend and accommodate extraordinary expenses not borne by any of the Program's Big East competitors, including practice field travel, practice field rental, home field travel and home field rental. Additionally, we ask for re-allocation of athletic office funds to provide competitive coaching resources, scholarship resources, training and recruiting resources.
In keeping with the Georgetown University Athletic Mission and Vision, the hard-working, committed and talented Field Hockey players look for competitive success each and every time they take the field. Without appropriate University support and attention, the Georgetown University Field Hockey student-athletes are set up to lose even though recruited to win.

These girls deserve so much better. They work their tails off and it is time for the school to stop treating them like an afterthought.
Fix this. These athletes are top tier and they are being held back by a total lack of support from the front office.
Hoya Saxa! Let us actually compete on a level playing field for once.
My daughter plays hard every single week. It is embarrassing that they have to travel just to find a place to practice.
GEORGETOWN NEEDS TO STEP UP. CANT EXPECT WINS WITHOUT GIVING THE TEAM THE SAME RESOURCES AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE BIG EAST.
