Piss poor that adults can't have dedicated time. I'm all for kids swimming exercising but for Christ sake let's have some adult only time. Quiet swimming, socially agreeable and community inspiring. Just adults. Please listen, and please for Jesus christ's sake give generously.

More adult swims please. More dedicated exclusive adult swim time. Blasted kids rule the pool.

The pool at Dursley was badly designed, with the hoist for disabled swimmers taking up a huge amount of space in a place which narrows the width of the pool and makes lane swimming difficult. I have never seen the hoist used. There are surely alternative ways for disabled people to be able to access the pool that don't block half the pool. At the time of the gym installation the pool should have been remodelled.

I agree adults only should be adults only. The kids have ample swimming and messing opportunity through the week, weekend and holidays. Where's our dedicated time.

Having just moved to Dursley, I was looking forward to using the pool. Sadly I am unable to make the very few adult peoiods.

Sick fed up of kids ruling the pool. Time the adults took it back. Childless and righteous

Thornbury pool is my pool of choice. Three sectioned lanes for slow medium and fast with plenty space enough for kids to mess and play.
Bring this to Dursley or as the petition says exclusive use for adults on weekday nights and I'll think about coming back.

This isn't a adults vs kids appeal as Dursley matters makes it out to be. This is simply the only way we can make SDC or the powers that be at The Pulse listen. They say and I know I've complained that they haven't been told enough by members, but from what I read they have yet nothing has changed.
Kids do get in the way...I'm sorry but they do, intentionally or not.
I think 3-6:30 is adequaye enough time for them to play have fun and be kids.
6:30-7:30 swimming lessons only then instructors can have the whole pool to teach in shallow medium and deep ends for differing levels as was in my day.
Then 7:30-close or club use is for adults only. I agree younger by adult/parental guarantee of behaviour and adoption of swim only rules.
It's not difficult. Swim fit could be done on alternate days to adult only session days.

I agree with Ben. I am so self aware of my weight I don't feel I can go there to shift it. I want to swim fit but on my terms not kids terms.

If they advertise adults only then adults only it should be. Two or three of these a week over a 7 day week could be well accommodated for. Sorry Angela

My husband suffered an abrasion to his face after being hit by a diving weight thrown across the pool, and he was in a lane. The pool side staff were helpful but I can't help but feel this wouldn't have happened at all or potential to happen again, if there was provision for strictly adults only in the evenings as well as mornings.

I've been laughed at coz of my weight by these kids. I know adults do but the good folk of Dursley tend to say it in their heads. I love swimming
