The hourly rate is not reflective of the skills a qualified pharmacist has. A rate that has not adjusted for inflation is an abomination, and reeks of exploitation.

One would imagine that being a professional, a pharmacist should be well remunerated like other professionals like Doctors, lawyers, Accountants, etc but that is not the case. The time has come for us pharmacists to take our destiny into our hands.

Rate should be revised. I think a committee or negotiator be involved to just discuss with people like clicks who employ the most locums to up their rate. All people will move there and the other companies will likely increase rate to attract locums.
