Better pay rates for pharmacists in South Africa are long overdue. R500 sounds about right.

A pay rate that has been the same for so long is unacceptable. Pharmacists play a very important role and deserve the respect due to them. Increase the rate to R500/hour.

Pharmacists play an integral part in the health care system in South Africa. They hardly get compensated for using their knowledge and professional skills to the benefit of the community. The current rumination rates for locum pharmacist is an insult to the profession and must be reviewed immediately

We need to be paid like professionals but we need to stick together and speak in one voice like the other professions eg doctors. This purpose would be defeated if others act otherwise. So lets all stand together !!! Now !!!
