We need your support. The Isaac Newton Academy Charter, iNAC, proposal to open a charter school was submitted to the Bensalem School District Board of Directors and we now need your signature of support and representation at two community nights. The first meeting is to learn about iNAC on December 15th at MaST, 1800 E Byberry Road, at 6:30 pm.. The second is more important. We need your support at the hearing before the Board of Directors to be held on December 19th at the Bensalem Township Administrative Office, 3000 Donallen Drive, Bensalem, at 7 PM.

iNAC is modeled after MaST Community Charter School in Philadelphia and represents the idea of instilling core values in students, educating them through innovative pathways of learning, and creating an environment that is focused on preparing students for careers in math, science and technology.

The Isaac Newtown Academy Charter application was submitted by several founding members of MaST, the Math Science and Technology Community Charter School .

The Isaac Newtown Academy would open next year with grades K-4, and reach a total enrollment of 1,075 students in grades k-12 by 2016 .

The proposal has strong support from Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Councilman Joseph Pilieri. Both sent letters to the district offering support. DiGirolamo said he visited MaST school and was highly impressed.

A public hearing on the Isaac Newtown application is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 19  at 3000 Donallen Drive, Bensalem.  Please come out and show your support.

Most importantly, please sign our petition! Thank you so much for caring about education in PA.

So much hard work has gone into building this community. Don't let it go to waste over some stupid politics.

The administration needs to fix the issues but closing the school is just gonna hurt the students.

This school is the only reason my daughter is actually passing math. Keep the doors open.
