We, the undersigned, wish to express our support for Police Chief Ken Burton in his work to improve the Columbia Police Department.
1. We agree with his decision to fire Rob Sanders.
2. We support his willingness to work with groups such as The Bias-free Columbia Coalition.
3. We sincerely hope that he will continue to serve as Columbia's Chief of Police for the foreseeable future.

Burton has my full support. Changing the culture in columbia aint easy but he is trying.
Solid leadership is hard to find. Burton is doing good work for the city.
Ken Burton is exactly what this department needs. Finally someone with some guts to do the right thing.
ABOUT TIME. Sanders needed to go years ago. Great move chief.
The man is doing a tough job in a tough town. Leave him alone and let him work.
