Signing this petition is saying we need an improvement in the computer lab on the third floor of the Social Work building. A place as social work students on campus we can call our own. Each signature will allow the Dean of Social Sciences know that we as a department want a place to be able to use computers, have free printing, able to scan and copy important documents for our classes. The improvement needed is new computers, faster software, new seats, new desks, printer and office supplies (stapler, hole puncher, etc).

I have spent this week drafting a formal proposal to present these requests to the Dean of Social Sciences. Your comments regarding the need for functional equipment have provided the specific evidence required to argue for these necessary building improvements.

we need this fixed asap
The printers in there stay broken man it is ridiculous. We pay enough tuition to at least have a working lab in our own building.
It saddens me to know a profession that does research doesn’t feel it’s imperative we have a successful up and running computer lab with a printer as well as updated software. It’s time for a change even if I won’t be able to witness it happen
WE ARE IN DIRE NEED OF A NEW COMPUTER LAB AND PRINTER!! We don’t have time to walk way across campus to print something!
PLEASE upgrade this lab. Its so hard to get work done with computers that take 20 mins just to load a word doc.

Renovations to the computer lab will undoubtedly make the BSW and MSW experiences that much more fulfilling for students and professors.
