I think the board is moving to fast on a project of this size give it more time and look at the far reaching impact of this proposal.

I feel it is also very important for the school district to change from half day sessions of kindergarten to full day. They now have the space that they lacked..However I do believe there should be k -3 buildings and 4-6 buildings...class size could be more evenly dispersed.Too many children get lost in the shuffle of large class sizes..In today's society we can't attribute to this because it is these children that eventually act out in inappropriate ways (shooting, knivings)

I am a concerned grandma with grandchildren in both Meridian and Center Township schools, as well as a grandson who currently is in 7th grade. I cannot fathom the thought of my granddaughter's attending the Jr. High. I agree with your proposal to close the Jr. High all together, as well as preserve the K-6 elementary structure. Keep up the good work!

We stayed in this Dostrict BECAUSE of the K-6 structure! I would like to keep it that way.

I do not feel 4th-6th grade should be at the Jr High. This is not an ideal location.

I feel that is a good idea. It wouyld be alot less stress on our elementary kids. They dont need to ride a bus that long. And I feel in the winter it would not be very safe.

Keep our school district as one of the best. Please consider this proposal. I know the chaos of going into a huge number of students. Don't do this to our 5th graders

Consolidating the 4-6 graders at the junior high is Ludicrous. Keeping as many community k-6 schools open while still saving money makes the most sense. None of the proposed plans factored in closing the Junior High. Thank you this group of educated Butler residents for coming up with a better option. Hopefully the School Board will understand that a lot of parents and residents do not agree with any of the proposed plans.

renovatin jr.high and removing pool would be costly also you could not drive your child there with traffic or pick up where would you park? Less amount of time child be on bus.

my concern is I was overwhelmed in the junior high in 7th grade imagine a fourth or fifth. And if you close inner city schools what do you expect parents who walk and do not have cars do when their child gets sick at one of the outer city schools?
