I completely support your proposal for the district. Having a daughter in the special education program, I believe that keeping the smaller schools open, particularly for elementary education, will not only benefit all students but especially those children with learning support who thrive in smaller classrooms where they can get the personalized attention they need.

As a retired teacher in the BASD, I believe the safety and well being along with a diversified educational system, are the most critical components of a school system.

I think if this is looked further into this would be a great idea. My question is how big would the class sizes be?

I think this is a wonderful proposal! We shouldn't have to remodel or do any major changes to any of the schools, like we would of had to do if we kept the junior high school in the mix. Plus the JHS would be more marketable to sell than all the other elementary schools.
