We all know that tune. It wakes us up every morning. The USD Immaculata Bell rings 2, and sometimes 3 times per hour, starting at 8am. The students of Maher Hall are asking for a reduction in these loud and unnecessary noises.

I honestly never expected this many people to feel the same frustration about the bell waking us up every morning. Seeing this momentum grow makes me feel like we might actually get a little peace in Maher Hall soon.

I routinely get woken up early after a bender and let’s just say that doesn’t work for anyone.
Every morning I don't have an 8am class, I still get woken up by this bell. It's time for change!

literally just trying to study for finals and the bell wont stop going off every 20 minutes its driving me crazy
I routinely get woken up early after a bender and let’s just say that doesn’t work for anyone.
