We the undersigned petition the Ministry of Defence to recognize the city of Liverpool in the uniform of the newly formed Duke of Lancaster Regiment as this would be equal recognition to Cumbria, Lancashire and Manchester. We urge the Ministry of Defence to adopt the 'White Horse of Hanover' of The King's Regiment (Liverpool), as the Duke of Lancaster's collar dogs.

The momentum behind this effort has grown into something I honestly did not expect when I started this campaign. It has been exhausting to keep pushing against the bureaucracy but seeing this level of interest keeps me going. We will keep moving forward until the Ministry of Defence acknowledges our history.

Keep our history alive! The White Horse is a massive part of Liverpools military identity and it shouldnt be brushed aside like this.

Ridiculous that they would drop it. Its about pride and identity for the city lads serving.

My grandfather served with the Kings and he would be devastated to see this being ignored. Put it back where it belongs.
