Ignacio Schools: Protect Our Kids, Not Your Image

Unacceptable, she should not be allowed to teach our children.

This teacher must be held accountable for her actions!! Principal, Superintendent and School Board this is NOT OK…

I sure hope this teacher changes her attitude to “maybe I should not have been doing that” about her own actions soon. She should be dismissed.

Regardless of political beliefs, this is unacceptable behavior, especially coming from an educator that has undeniable influence over the next generation.

Benevediaz is not a teacher I want around my grandchildren, she should have shown compassion for her student(s) and condemned political violence? If there have been so many complaints about her in her position, why is she still there? Stop pushing behavior under the rug and hold her accountable ! She does not emulate a positive learning environment for those kids!

I don’t care what your political view is…. But no death is ever to be celebrated…. Or made fun of or made light of…. Coming from a teacher who is supposed to be a light and encouragement to kids this is not acceptable at all. She needs to have consequences for her behavior.

Charlie did not only debate he educated No matter our political views no child she’ll feel uncomfortable in a school setting. Hold this young lady accountable as you have for many of us that you Ignacio school district Educated years ago.

A child needs to be heard and to feel safe peer pressure and bullying is enough without faculty making the child feel unheard and respected.

This is disgusting behavior that should not be tolerated. It’s disgraceful someone like that should not be in education.

School district is traumatizing for all children. K-12. My daughter attended Ignacio Elementary for a brief time in August 2024 for kindergarten. She experienced extreme bullying, and I removed her immediately because Ignacio school district did nothing about it.

It has been an ongoing problem with teachers not being held accountable. She should be fired for expressing her political views during school hours to a student.

This kind of behavior from a teacher should not be tolerated and is an evil act !

If the district thinks it is ok to teach our children to mock pain and suffering while also applauding an assassination, all kids should stop attending. Hold your teachers accountable.

I have grandchildren who attend school here.
