Clark County School District is protecting the teachers who have a complete disregard for human life. This shows that THEY then have no fear of the parents who wish that teachers who Boldly and proudly mock the death of a father and husband be dismissed, b/c there is no place for such an adult to be teaching our childern. I hope you see the error of you protecting such vile minded persons, you should not have to be told why this is never a good idea to let the same people be in control of our children's minds.

My kids are grown, therefore no longer in school in Ignacio schools. However, I looked up who the current Superintendent is and although I was shocked, I was in no way surprised. I had many issues with him being unethical, unprofessional and downright appalling when he was Principal of the middle school! Sounds to me like the Superintendent went from bad to worse. All parents must band together in unity for the children, regardless of your personal feelings towards one another. There is strength in numbers, just as there is in prayer. You are all in my prayers. TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE!

She clearly needs to be removed for the good of the kids and the school. That is unacceptable.

Rip Charlie. He was legendary and always will be. Please don't make a celebration out of his death. Be respectful and answer hate with kindness bc hate is what killed Charlie and many other people. Respond to hate with kindness. Be a light in this world of darkness.

What happened to common courtesy and decency. Teachers should be the finest our community has to offer, not the dregs of society.
It saddens me that kids go to school these days feeling like they dont have a voice or a positive outlet. Kids need encouragement and positivity. Its your job as an adult & teacher to hold up your end. To reach out in times of need and show compassion. To give the resources they need to be the next generation as contributive members in society. To teach kids to be better and reach they're goals. Not to oppress & degrade them! I wish these kids had teachers like I did growing up. This teacher needs to take responsibility & accountability for how she treats her students. I hope her replacement is a much better human...

There are a lot of toxic people working in our schools that are there for their personal agendas and not for the kids best interests.

What happened in my mind—laughing at a student and saying “maybe he shouldn’t have been doing that” when the student shared they were sad about an assassination—is completely unacceptable.
It reflects a lack of empathy and respect for someone expressing genuine grief. Regardless of personal opinions or context, mocking someone’s emotional response to a tragic event—especially something as serious as an assassination—undermines the values of compassion, understanding, and basic human decency. I recognize that this kind of reaction is not okay, and I want to hold myself to a higher standard. 11JT needs to do the same.
Furthermore, I have to ask myself: what message does this send to the rest of the class?
That vulnerability is dangerous? That speaking your mind will be met with ridicule or punishment? If students begin to feel that their emotions or perspectives are unwelcome, we risk creating an environment of silence and fear instead of one of trust and growth. That’s not the kind of classroom I want to be part of—or the kind of person I want to be. I want to foster a space where every voice is heard, and every feeling is treated with dignity.

The intolerance and indoctrination in our school system is exactly why I pulled my kids from Ignacio schools and now homeschooling
