Membership number 10115. The overwhelming members of the District want this decision reversed so elections can be conducted without delay.

Still in shock to hear of the postponement of the election. I am in support of the caretaker committee election arrangements. It is not fair on the financial members of the district. The institute governing council should stop interfering in the affairs of the district and allow the the caretaker committee execute their duties properly.

The Suspension of this Election is not in the best interest of UKDS. I endorse this petition. Yemisi Rotimi MN 5425

I have heard about once beaten twice……but what do we say about thrice between?? Still in shock! After all due diligence by CTC I am still at a loss as to how council can take this decision based on ONE non financial member's false allegations without recourse to the CTC they appointed. This decision is a direct affront to the financial members of ICANUK, CTC and everything the institute stands for (Accuracy and Integrity). Procedurally it sets a bad precedent and substantively it set ICAN UK and ICAN on a very dangerous path. I urge council to reconsider this rather flawed decision and let peace reign in ICAN UK . We don’t need this distraction at this time when we should be at the centre of repositioning the economy of our nation for the greater good of all Nigerians Shalom

Disappointing that the members of the council will continue to disregard their institutes procedures.

Kindly allow the process to go as scheduled. Election should not be a time wasting process for the district.

My views are clear on this. Council should allow the election to go ahead, petitioner and his supporters on the Council should be called to order according to the dictates of the ICAN Act. Enough is enough of the systematic destroying of UKDS.

It is sad that our parent body, the ICAN Council will act in haste by considering the petition of a non financial member who has consistently being a cogg in the wheels of the UK District. It is not too late for the ICAN Council to live up to its moral and legal responsibilities by reversing the ill conceived and illegal decision to suspend 2016 ICAN UK District Election. Am more than taken aback by the actions and evident inactions of ICAN Council members. Is there reason in the house? If and I stress if... then it needs to prevail. All parties involved in this fiasco need to be severely disciplined.

This is the third time this individual has written to the council to stop the election and disrupt progress in the district and not do anything to build it. This pattern has unfortunately shown that as long as you have a friend in the council you can get away with anything. Processes and protocols no longer matters. Neither does the majority view. I am sure that is not the council's intention but I just hope they do the right thing to reverse this and prevent it from happening again. If not it will have a ripple effect to other districts.

It is clear that the only agenda here is to sink UKDS. It is well documented that the 'lone petitioner' and his cohort has set up a rival accounting association in the UK. Therefore their strategy is to cripple UKDS to ensure their organisation thrives. The council needs to wake up and smell the coffee and be savvy and listen to the local intelligence and guidance from CTC, a body they appointed to oversee the activities of UKDS. Suffice to say this decision by the council will only facilitate the early demise of UKDS.

SOS!!! A minority holds the UKDS to ransom!!! This is a call to council to let the CTC complete the task assigned it. This is the desire of most UKDS members nay all except one or two. Oladokun Omiyale (MBO26046)

It's a shame the Council made such a detrimental decision at the expense of genuine and hardworking members working tirelessly to rebuild and restore the UKDS. It's high time the Council reverse its decision and stop interfering in the affairs of our district on the basis of complaints made by a malicious member interested only in pulling the UKDS apart.

It is disheartening that members worked tirelessly to uphold ICAN image through supporting UKDS and also placed the District above our families to organise a conference described by ICAN President as the most successful only to be slapped in the face with the one member, non-financial member petition and unfortunate council decision. Reversing the decision is the best way for peace in UKDS and will enforce compliance with ICAN procedures. Please grant us our wish. Thank you.
