The DOTD needs to get their act together. Just shift the road a little bit. It is not that hard.
My kids love that tree. Its a landmark for the drive to New Iberia. Stop the construction.
PLEASE save Mr. Al! We are losing too many of these beauties to construction. Once its gone it is gone forever.
Ridiculous that they would even consider taking this down. Put the road somewhere else.

That tree has been there forever. My grandfather used to talk about it when he would drive down to the coast. Dont cut it down for a road we dont even need.
