Why not combine something beautiful like really appreciating the time we have with each other by agreeing to turn off you mobile phone off just for one day & really been there in the present with friends & family. The day is Sunday 11the September 5am till Monday 12 Th September 5 am.

The mobile phone was mean't to give us so much more freedom but i actually wonder if it is as double edged sword, taking away as much as it gives.

So many of us now are talking & texting even when we are in company. The other day I saw (what i presume was a mother & daughter get out of their car and both were just texting on their phones walking down the street, instead of talking to each other). How many times do people/guests at meals start checking their phones for texts, and 'excuse me while i take this'.

I decided to look for an appropriate day, the obvious choice was a Sunday. Then when looking for one i saw 11th September which i thought was appropriate. So I also thought of the time people coming in on a Saturday night So i went for Sunday 11th September 5 am till Monday 12th September 5am Of course the only exception is if there is a genuine emergency

About time. I hate going to lunch and seeing everyone staring at their phones instead of talking. Count me in.

people are way too addicted to their screens these days. it will be good to just disconnect and be present for once. doing it!
