How did you not hear him say four times to get on the ground? Put yourself in his position. He is innocent!

We were not in Officer Kerrick's shoes when the incident happened. Do not re-try.

This needs to stop so people will start learning to respect police officers, teachers, parents, judges.

It's discouraging to see a protest of any sort that filters down to the level we've seen recently. Trial by jury is the fairest form of governance in the world. The people around the globe can only dream of our freedom of speech.

An officer did his job as he was trained - followed procedure - issued an ordered and was attacked by the man who refused to follow a lawful order - his misstate NOT the Officers !!

I believe Officer Kerrick is innocent. He should not be tried again. We should not start changing our constitional laws to appease a group of people; if so, we may lose the right to defend ourselves.

Please do not try this case again. There will never be a unanimous decision either way.

There has been no fairness to Officer Kerrick by the media or CMPD . Enough is enough.

I believe Kerrick did the best job and used the best judgement he could have. Ferrell was charging, had been drining and using illegal drugs. How much latitude we give criminals these days and not the Officers that support and protect us. Prayers are with you Kerrick.

Way too many areas for reasonable doubt. Spend our taxpayers money elsewhere.

This case never should have gone to trial to begin with. The decision to prosecute was made before the investigation was barely in it's infancy, let alone after it's conclusion. This was Political, pure and simple.

How many times will they retry him before they get the verdict they want. The only black on the jury wanted him found guilty.
