Five thousand people have now told the Attorney General that this endless pursuit of Officer Kerrick is nothing but a political witch hunt. We are putting the system on notice that we will not stay silent while they try to ruin an innocent man.

We hit one hundred signatures and the Attorney General needs to stop this relentless persecution immediately. This is just the beginning of our fight to prove Officer Kerrick is innocent.

The Attorney General is ignoring the truth but this surge in support proves that we are not backing down. They want us to stay quiet while they drag Officer Kerrick through the mud again. We are proving right now that the public sees through their agenda.

It is a very sad situation for both families but I believe after reviewing the evidence in the trial that Officer Kerrick should have never been charged. The mistake here is with the CMPD leadership and not the actions of the officer in this case.
I feel that it would be a disservice to officer Kerrick to retry this case. The evidence has not changed so 8 jurors said they did not find enough evidence of wrong on the officers part to justify a guilty verdict. Why should we need to retry this.
This officer shot until the threat stopped, as HE WAS TRAINED TO DO. He is not guilty of any crime. Justifiable homicide should have been the determination of a Grand Jury. The prosecutor in this case has an apparent prejudice against police officers.
CMPD's administration played racial politics with the media and this officer's career and life as he knew it is over. I'm a cop in the same county and am blessed to not be a part of that agency. They should be ashamed! This officer has my full support!
Went to school and was friends with Wesley from elementary all the way through high school and graduated with him. Not an aggressive bone in his body, friends with everyone, the man had to do what he had to do to protect his self. #KerrickStrong
How do we send this man some money?
He did what he was suppose to, if he hadn't then he probably would've been killed.

Officer Kerrick has been tried by a jury of his peers and in an appropriate court under the auspice of the law. There is no need to retry Wes Kerrick . Free him from the torture and allow him to resume what semblance of a normal life he has left
