If Jonathan Farrell hadn't charged at Officer Kerrick none of this would have happened. Another officer hesitated to shoot after being charged at and was pistol whipped. We need to support our police.

i do not think it is necessary to retry this case. Eight out of twelve. found him not guilty. If you were in officer Kerrick's place and saw a man much larger than you charging at you what would you do?

My prayers go out to the Kerrick and Ferrell family. I do not believe trying this case again will bring different results and will keep these wounds open for another year or two. Let the healing begin.

I believe this Case against Officer Kerrick needs to be dropped now & everyone move on to begin their own healing process. Another Trial isn't going to bring a different outcome in my opinion. My thoughts & prayers go to both Families for what they have losses, but I do believe Officer Kerrick didn't have any other options that evening based on the information he was given & the actions that occurred when CMPD pulled up on Jonathan Ferrell.

From what I have seen and heard from the trial he souls never been charged. Paying the family of the man who died was settled too soon. I do not feel he will ever get a fair trial.

what do people expect to happen when they attack a police officer. I am disappointed that CMPD did not back him, instead they threw him under the bus .

Please use your critical thinking skills to understand this Jury has spoken, and more importantly, what it has said! Finding 12 people to agree to convict will be next to impossible. I urge you not to retry Officer Kerrick.
