Stop criminalizing our police for doing their jobs and keeping themselves from being killed. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are race baiters that need to stay the hell out of Charlotte. We have enough trouble makers.

So now it seems as though the court ruling has become public opinion. What are we going to be doing next??? ...stoning people in the square??? We are literally getting worse as a country not better!!!

Please no retrial. He never should have been arrested in the first place. He was doing his job and unfortunately had to use deadly force when someone came at him. Pretty soon we will have no officers if they are going to face jail time for doing their jobs. Just let Officer Kerrick movery on with his life and no retrial.

I believe that Officer Kerrick was defending himself and his fellow officers. When are people going to "stop" when an officer of the law tells them to?

The majority believed him as not being guilty. Enough is enough. CMPD should have supported their officer instead of playing politics by building up the previous Chiefs resume.

The trial has happened, the truth was discovered and I believe the family that was prematurely awarded 2.2 million should have to return the money to city of Charlotte. Immediately.

If we can't believe in our justice system then why do we have a system at all. It would just be a free for all to do whatever anyone wants to do. We have to have a system. Whether it works or whether it has a few flaws. It's not perfect but it is what we have to be as fair as possible to everybody!!!!

Officer kerrick should've never been brought to jail in the first place Roy Cooper. Make the right choice for once in your liberal career and let this nonsense be done.
