You would have to be blind to see the dash cam and not see him charging the policeman.This is sad but the trial should never have happened. Sad situation but he was only being a policeman. You cannot find fault in that.

When will citizens learn that all you need to do is follow police instructions? Officers try to protect and serve and are put in dangerous situations every day when the public doesn't comply. CMPD rushed to judgment in this instance and did not support their own officer. The city of Charlotte also rushed to judgment by paying out a civil suit before the case even went to trial. I think this was done in order to prevent protests. Many people don't want justice: they want revenge even when the system works as it should. That just shows that some will never be satisfied. When 2/3 of the jury has reasonable doubt, the case does not need to be retried.

Please do not retry Officer Kerrick. The first grand jury declined to indict, second grand jury tainted by visible protesters every day they met, and the majority of trial jury voted for his acquittal. Please stop this runaway train.

Kerrick is NOT-guilty. DO NOT retry - waste of taxpayer money! Don't you think the $2.2 given to the thugs family is wasteful enough. North Carolina is scaring is cops and teachers away!! Enough with this backward thinking.

sad how he had seconds to make decisions the world had 2 years to analyze it to pieces. Black need to stop being so violent as a group that would help calm all this stupidity down. Thank all police for what they do, yes some are bad but they get weeded out !

Because of bully politics another good officer is ruined. Just because the country has got on this anti cop band wagon does mean every shot ting is a criminal or careless act. When you live in a boiler plate atmosphere like cops live today you can't take any chances. If a suspect is told to back down or stop he or she better stop. The respect is gone. Wrong doers will run wild and good citizens will be hung out to dry for fear of legal action for protecting himself.

There should be no retrial. If the deceased had followed orders of the officers he would be here today. His race should not be a factor in this.
