Should not keep pressing charges just because the outcome wasn't what others wanted . The majority voted. The vote should stand.

Please do Not retry this Case. Officer Kerrick should Never have been charged for Voluntary Manslaughter. My Prayers are with both Families for healing & being able to move forward.

Officers are trained to protect and serve and unfortunately at times use deadly force. The officer is innocent in my humble opinion of any ill will. He was afraid for his life and used his fire arm. If we don't start defending our officers we are going to have chaos an anarchy in our streets. Who will protect and serve if we keep throwing our police to the wolves? Please do not try the officer again, he's suffered enough for doing his job. Extremely sorry for the loss of life in this case, and I pray for the family that is suffering this loss. But wrongly trying and penalizing an officer for doing what he was trained to do will not bring him back.

Do not retry Officer Kerrick because he is innocent. He was doing his job which is a very dangerous job. Ferrell should have NEVER run period. That's what he did wrong. He didn't obey the officer's commands.

The man is innocent let him go. Let him be. I don't blame him I would've shot the man to he shouldn't have started running toward him

Kerrick was a political scapegoat of appeasment. North Carolina is guilty of railroading this young man. Monroe and Cooper should be on trial. Monroe, Cooper, and others have conspired to deny Officer Kerrick his civil rights.

Please do not put this Officer and his poor family through the agony of another trial. He was only doing his job and if Rodney Monroe hadn't jumped the gun to fire him and make sure the family was paid a quick $2.8 million before the dash cam and the entire story came out 2 yrs later, maybe folks wouldn't have been so quick to judge this officer in the line of duty faced with a life or death situation. These Officers put their lives on the line every single day and they don't receive near the amount of respect they deserve.

Please do not try this Officer again. He and the law enforcement community has been through enough. Thanks for the consideration.

officer Randall Kerrick was protecting himself, from a man that was not responding to commands and charging toward him. He is trained to use his gun in threatening situations. I would feel the same way if Ferrell was white.

It has reached a point where our police officers cannot do their job for fear of being punished or loosing their job.
