Let this Man rest. leave him alone and do not re trial him. He is innocent . If ferrell would have not been acting crazy and done what he said there would be no problems.. he was simply defending himself. What kind of country is this if we cant defend ourselfs

This officer did nothing wrong. Honor him and all other officers and hire him back with full pay and rank.
You'll tried to make an example of him and he had done nothing wrong.

He should have never been charged. He acted within the realm of how ALL police are trained. The fact that the Police dept did not back him is real disturbing.

Officer Kerrick was doing his job; All Ferrell had to do is comply with the officers commands and he would still be living. DO YOU WANT the police to protect us? ENOUGH !

I support this officer in his duty to protect the citizens of the area. To much politics in the decision to prosecute in the first place.

I'm on Kerricks side! I would have shot him too. You could tell by his testimony that Officer Kerrick did not want to shoot the boy. Thank you for protecting and serving!

I believe Officer Kerrick is completly innocent!! He was just trying to do his job!!! I find it utterly rediculous that he has been subjected to this trial in the first place. Two Grand Jurys GIve Me A Break!!!

There is no evidence that he did anything other than his job. Don't waste more tax payer money to appease a special interest group.

This young officer had his day in court and a jury of his peers failed to convict. He deserves the same support any defendant would get after the same verdict. The AG should not waste any more taxpayer money for political purposes. Reinstatement is unlikely but a new trial will serve no one justice. As a retired career law enforcement officer I support Officer Kerrick. The demonstrations by the criminal black lives matter group should not influence justice.

He was tried and the jury was unable to convict him. Based on the 8 to 4 for not guilty I feel he should not be retried. He needs to move on with his life and yhe taxpayers already gave the parents a sizable amont of money. No need to spend more of our money on a new trial. Chief Monroe also acted prematurely in charging Officer Kerrick.
