All evidence presented-- 8 votes not guilty should speak for itself . As they said it wasn't about race as they tried to make it.

Officer Kerrick has been tried. We do not need to do it again since he should have not been tried to start with. Why did Ferell rush him per the tape instead of obeying the commands ssued?

I am afraid that if this kind of thing keeps up, we are headed for a civil war in this country. If that happens, no one will be safe. People think if they don't get what they want they turn to violence to try and prove their point. It's going to be like bullying the young boy into a corner. We he can't back up anymore he is going to hurt you. That's what is going to happen here. At some point, people will get tired of the babaric displays and fight back. Then it will every man for himself.

i don't believe he is guilty ,if ferrel had done what he was told he would still be here.the fact that ferrel was drunk and on drugs is why this happened.officer kerrick was attacted and doing his job.if he was found guilty what kind of message would that send to the world.

You done what anyone have done if you had someone running at you after a demand telling him to stop. You are a police officer he should respect you and follow orders like everyone else

I'm tired of police being criminalized. We need to start supporting them and their decisions. Keep Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out of our city.

Tragic loss of a young man. Don't ever charge and attempt to over power a police officer.

Time to move on. One trial is enough. I saw the video. Who runs towards a police officer unless they intend to do harm? Stop means stop. If U fall on a gunman firing shots, U can't stop shooting! Who would want to?

Officer Kerrick is innocent and I believe it would be a waste of resources to try him again.

I do believe the Officer felt the situation was life threatening and he should not be retried. The whole situation is a sad one - but I believe the officer did what he thought he needed to do to save his own life.

He should never have been charged to begin with. It's clearly self defense to anyone with an open mind
