Enough punishing police, just stop when told and stop doing actions that make cops make these decisions.

After 25 years as a police officer I can attest that I have seen people do some very foolish things when they would have been better off obeying the commands of the officer.

8 not guilty to 4 guilty. Would be a waste to retry. They could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt the first time around. Just more P.C. bull shit.

retrying the kerrick case would be a waste of taxpayers money. the people have spoken and that should be that. he wasn't even indicted the first time. But your office would not settle for you no true bill. Don't make this apolitical case any further.

i dnt think it's fair or right how Officer Kerrick is being treated by people, how they act like he was in the wrong. I support Officer Kerrick and I feel he did what he had to do to protect himself cause no one else seemed to help him!

I admit I don't know all the facts, but from all I have read and seen on the news. I am convinced they were some terrible mistakes made that night but not from Officer Kerrick.

I believe that officers have a tough job in today's society and they are often reprimanded for protecting themselves or the community! People have no respect for humans anymore, much less law enforcement. They are subjected to disrespect and violence everyday and are expected to treat them with respect and not offend them! That's crap! If they are disrespectful and violent towards the officer then their rights of humanity should be disregarded! I am in favor of officers upholding the law and doing what it takes to do so to protect themselves and me!

Waste of taxpayer money to retry this police officer! Ferrell never showed any respect for the law and with alcohol and Marijuana in his system I feel this should never have gone to trial at all. Hasty judgment from the very beginning that cost the city 2.25 million dollars. That money should have gone to our teachers!!!

Officer Kerrick helped the community for YEARS without recognition. I support him, the training he received and the CMPD. No officer should ever be punished for defending THEIR right to live! OFFICERS LIVES MATTER TOO!
