This officer needs to sue the city of Charlotte for paying the Farrell family 2.5 million dollars before a trial, and for the harassment he's going threw after 3 trials

Officer Kerrick was doing his job. Why is it so hard for people to understand that by following police commands as simple as "get down" police would not have to hurt anyone. Officer Kerrick and his family should NOT have to endure another trial and taxpayers' money should NOT be spent!

Do not retry this trial. I am sorry for the Ferrell family loss. Again another case of this could have been prevented if he had complied with police.

Tough case, but the deceased clearly as partiality at fault: 1. His girlfriend, that day, had pleaded with him to get his life together. 2. Had been partying and wrecked his car after 2:00AM, nothing good happens after midnight. 3. Scared a female homeowner nearby pounding on door, causing her to call police for help. 4. Charged towards Officers. As seen on video. 5. Failed to stop as directed by law enforcement Officers, as reported by Black Officer. 6. Yelled "Shoot me" twice to the Officers, as reported by Black Officer.

Justice for Officer Kerrick

Could not have been a thorough investigation prior to charges being brought. Charges were brought too quickly. Not right to retry just because a special group did not get the results they want.

Don't give in to the haters. Do the right thing. Let the man live in peace. No retrial.

Another good cop doing his job . Most of the jury saw it this way but no one really knows in those split seconds until they are in an officers shoes how things go.

As a tax payer and citizen of NC the cost of this trial is not needed. All parties went through the process and the outcome was what it was. The whole situation is tragic however we cannot start to second guess the judicial process because of a race card being played. Time to move on and the family needs to understand had their child complied with commands he would still be here today.

I totally support officer Kerrick. He should not have to endure another trial. We must support our police officers or soon nobody will want to serve.

It's sad that some families try and find a scape goat for the wrong actions for their family member. I pray that Officer Kerrick and his family make it through this tough situation.
