I believe the officer to be innocent. Do not retry.

This would simply put "be a waste of taxpayer money" in 8-4 not quilty at the ebd of the mistral rings pretty loudly in my opinion.

Officer Kerrick was just doing the job he was trained to do.

Let the healing begin. There is no reason to spend more taxpayers money on an innocent man.

I don't believe Officer Kerrick should be retried in court. The case was made and largely in favor of him.

Never should have been tried in the first place. Retrial totally unwarranted and waste of resources.

Officer Kerrick has been through enough. He was performing his duty per CMPD procedure.

Justice was served. Officer Kerrick was not even remotely close to being found guilty and this would be setting a very bad precedent for others in the future. Their will never be a verdict that can bring Jonathon Ferrell back. It's time to heal as their are already too many victims.

Thanks to the Obama administration, society finds every opportunity to cry wolf and this is one of them...there should have never been a trial in the first place, the officer is innocent.

With an 8-4 vote not guilty I believe a second trial would bring a similar outcome. It is a waste of tax payers money to have a second trial. This officer was acting within the law. He felt his life and physical well being was in serious danger and acted accordingly.

I support officer Kerrick and ask that he not be re-tried because after seeing the evidence believe him to be innocent.

This officer was doing his job as he has been trained to do. Although a tragedy, he was attacked and did what he was trained to do. It all could have been avoided had the young man just stopped. Just stopped.

This is not a race thing, but an evidence thing. One juror admitted going in with a guilty verdict prior to trial.

Should have never gone to trial to begin with, and would be a waste of public money to send it back to trial just to get the same outcome!
