This whole thing has been a media inspired travesty! It's time to stop this nonsense. Blacks need to obey the law and cooperate with police officers!

I fully support Officer Kerrick and as a veteran officer of 29 years, I know what it means to put your life on the line. I'm with you, brother!

If I may ask why precisely we even need this petition? Obeying the Police should be common sense! Random Perp:"But I-I I's scared mayne!" Ya know why? You've been doing wrong! The Police are here to help, not put random people in the slammer.

Kerrick cannot be convicted because he faced a credible threat of "serious bodily harm" creating the legal PRESUMPTION he acted lawfully. State v. Ellis, 241 N.C. 702, 705, 86 S.E.2d 272, 274 (1955).

I support Randall Kerrick and do not believe he should be subjected to a second trial, because he is factually innocent.

The statement in the Law that says Actions, "against the peace and dignity of the state of North Carolina", No where was Ferrell acting with Dignity or in a peaceful manner. He was acting like a Raging bull, that the created the reaction of the officer.

This officer should not be tried again. He and his family have been through enough. The jury heard ALL the evidence and could not find him guilty so do not try him again - especially for political reasons. Not to mention the cost to taxpayers. And why did the city of Charlotte settle with the family of Mr Ferrell before the trial??
