This officer should have never been charged with voluntary manslaughter. This was a reach by former Chief Monroe. My question is did he even consult with the DA before making the charge?

The loss of a life is tragic no matter the race especially and certainly a young life at that. In this case we know that the young man certainly caused enough concern at the home that he went to by his manner to prompt the 911 call that set the events in motion that have brought to where we are today. There is certainly nothing that would legitimately make this officier guilty. A retrial would only give the media another oppurtunity to try to cause even more racial unrest in a city that to this point has not turned into a Jefferson and our prayer is that it won't. More injury, loss of life, or property damage can not benefit anyone, Mr, Attorney General you have an oppurtunity to do the right thing. LET IT END. NO RETRIAL Thank You..

What happened is unfortunate; however Officer Kerrick was doing his job. Life and death decisions occur in split seconds. Do mot retry Officer Kerrick!

He's not guilty! NO one could say what they would do if they were in his shoe's on that night! I probably would had done the same; to me he was just protecting himself and the other two officers. The man should of had enough respect to lesson to them, the officers didn't know what he had or what he was capable of! I'm praying for you and your family so that y'all can move past this! All officers want to go home to their families at the end of the shifts just like we do! Thank you to every officer out there for helping keep us safe!

Majority rules!! Don't retry this. It's a waste of time and money. This officer did his job. The other two officers should be investigated.

I feel that it would be a disservice to officer Kerrick to retry this case. The evidence has not changed so 8 jurors said they did not find enough evidence of wrong on the officers part to justify a guilty verdict. Why should we need to retry this.
